Eurolab meets in Croatia

EUROLAB Extraordinary General Assembly 2025 & EUROLAB National Members’ Meeting 2025 in Zadar, Croatia

On 11 and 12 November 2025, a meeting of national representatives and an Extraordinary General Assembly of EUROLAB were held at the Kolovare Hotel in Zadar, Croatia, preceding the 20th Jubilee International Competence of Laboratories Conference organised by CROLAB. The General Assembly focused on the new EUROLAB strategy aimed at strengthening representation of national laboratory associations at the EU level and opening membership further to individual conformity assessment bodies.

The Assembly gathered national members, associates and international affiliates in a constructive atmosphere, highlighting a shared commitment to transparency, dialogue and unity during an important period of strategic and legal transition. The meeting of national representatives also addressed current priorities and included an overview of EUROLAB’s ongoing EU-funded partnerships, such as the EURAMET food-safety project, the Lab of the Future Erasmus+ initiative and the UNIDO project.
