Blanks in validation - cover

Thanks to the work of our colleagues in Germany, the Eurachem Method Validation Working Group are pleased to publish German translations of our Validation Guide Supplements on planning and use of blanks, covering the planning and reporting of validation studies.

The planning supplement is in the form of a template for planning the evaluation of chosen performance characteristics, which can form the basis of a validation report. The supplement also contains a checklist to assist with validation planning.

The supplementary guidance on blanks in method validation describes the different types of blanks which may be used during method validation. It provides guidance for validation in situations where it may be difficult to obtain a suitable blank matrix.
